Questions people ask

If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp. I answer personally, and the good ones end up on this page.

The price

€79 a month, setup €890, or €790 a year — do I pay both?

No — never both. There are two payments, and only two. The setup fee, paid once when we start. Then the subscription, which is either €79 every month OR €790 once a year — and €790 is ten months' worth, so paying yearly gives you two months free. You choose one or the other. The pricing page shows the first-year total both ways.

Why is there a setup fee at all?

Because the first month is where the real work is: your products, prices, photos, delivery zones and hours go into the system, your site and back office are built around them, and everything is tested before you go live. The subscription pays for running it afterwards — hosting, updates, backups, support — not for building it. Charging setup separately is what keeps the monthly price low.

What does “you only pay the difference in setup” mean?

Say you start at Foundation, setup €390, and six months later you want Operations, setup €890. You pay €500 — the difference — and your subscription goes from €39 to €79. You never pay setup twice for the same work.

Is my advertising budget included?

No. Signature covers ad strategy and campaign structure — the setting-up — but the money that goes to Instagram or Google is yours and is paid by you. The Signature sticker set is illustrated individually and quoted separately, and a custom domain costs about €10–15 a year direct from the registrar.

Getting started

How long until I'm live?

It depends on two things: your level — Foundation is the quickest, Signature the longest, because more is built around you — and how complete your materials are when they reach me. So I do not quote a generic delay. The day I have your seven items, I give you your go-live date in writing, and it is never more than 30 days. If I miss it, the setup fee comes back.

What do you need from me?

Seven things: your menu with prices — a photo of a list is fine; one to three photos per product, natural light, no filter; where you deliver and what you charge; your opening days, hours and time zone; the WhatsApp number that should receive orders; your currency; and your logo and colours if you have them. If you do not, we start from a clean base.

What if I'm late sending my photos?

Then the clock has not started. The 30 days count from the day I have everything — that is the only fair way to do it. Send what you have when you have it, and I will tell you the exact day the countdown begins.

I'm not technical. Is this going to be hard?

You will never touch code, hosting or settings. You get an app on your phone with your products, your orders and your numbers. Everything underneath is my job.

The product

What if I already have a website?

Keep it. We start at Operations and build the back office behind what you already have — the app, the stock, the sales. If one day you want the ordering site too, it is there.

Do my customers need to install an app?

No. Your customers need nothing new: they open your site in their browser, choose, and the order opens in their WhatsApp, ready to send. The private app is for you only.

Does it take card payments online?

No, on purpose. Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp and you get paid the way you already do — bank transfer, cash on delivery, your local payment app. No card gateway means no commission on every order, no chargebacks, no account to be approved for, and it works in every country.

Do I need my own domain name?

Not to start. We can go live on an address I provide, and move to your own domain whenever you have one — about €10–15 a year, paid directly to the registrar, and I set it up for you.

Can I change a price or add a product myself?

From Operations up, yes — from the app on your phone. It is on your site within a minute. On Foundation you send me the change on WhatsApp and I make it; that is included, and it is what “content updates handled for you” means.

Where you are

Do I need to be in Europe or the Gulf?

No. If your customers use WhatsApp, it works. There is no payment integration and no marketplace approval, so there is nothing country-specific to block you. Your setup is in your currency and your time zone.

Does it work in my language?

The site is ready in English and Arabic today. Other languages are quoted separately for your site — tell me which one and I will include it in your recommendation.

Does it work in my currency?

Any currency, and any time zone. They are set once, for you, at setup.

Trust

Who owns the site and the data?

Your data is yours: products, recipes, customers, orders, sales history, photos, texts. You can export all of it at any time, and I hand it over completely if you leave. The system itself — the site engine and the app — stays mine; you use it as long as you subscribe, like any software service. That is what makes it possible to keep running and improving it for everyone on it.

Can I see it working?

Yes. A registered home bakery in Doha, Qatar runs on this exact system, and its site is public. Browse it like a customer: pick a box, see what is available today, open the order sheet. Please do not send a test order — it is a real kitchen.

Do you have other clients?

Honestly: one, and it is the bakery this was built for and refined on for months of daily orders. You would be among the first outside clients — which is exactly why the guarantee exists. If your site is not live within 30 days, you do not pay for setup.

What happens if I want to stop?

You cancel and the monthly billing stops. Your recipes, customers and sales history are yours — I export the lot and hand it over.

Can I start small and move up later?

That is how most people do it. You only pay the difference in setup between the level you are on and the one you move to.
